THANKS VETS FOR YOUR SACRIFICES~My Pop Ramon (RIP) won 3 Purple Hearts with the US ARMY, 736th Tank Battalion in The European Theater of WWII~he shared many Happy, Sad & Tragic Stories~One of his Best Stories was how he Officially was not allowed to ride the Harley-Davidson Motorcycles in the Cavalry, but on the side he traded Tank rides for Harley rides and as I was growing up, he always told me to get a Harley~Thanks Pop~so when I Roll, I always think of him and his Spirit,,,,,,

This film short was of "Patton's Playground" in the Indio Hills area on Dillon road. I have never seen footage of them in my hometown before so it was a pleasant surprise to see it. Further out on interstate 10 is another site dedicated to Patton as well. This is not far from Palm Springs, 20 -25 miles or so.
