In this video, there are excerpts from the most important works of some very influential Serbian intellectuals (politicians, academic, writers) who lived and worked in various time periods but are tied together by a common thread, the creation of a Greater Serbia. Trying to hide their true motives from the eyes of the world with a series of historic and demographic falsifications, today's proponents of Greater Serbian ambitions are only continuing the promotion of an idea that has been smouldering with various degrees of intensity for over a century. Serbian neighbors have paid a heavy price as the followers of this evil ideology have tried to implement it over the past century.

1. Ilija Garasanin (1812-1874) was very active in Serbian public life in the 19th century. He held many government posts, including Minister of Internal Affairs, Foreign Minister and Prime Minister, under both King Alexander Karadjordjevic as well as King Milos Obrenovic. As one of the most prominent Serbian statesmen of the time, he was very influential in shaping Serbian politics and policies.

2. Vuk Stefanovic Karadzic (1787-1864) was a linguist and writer who wrote widely on linguistic subjects and problems, and published many grammar books and a dicitionary. He is rightfully considered the founder of modern Serbian language reform and Serbian culture in general.

3. Nikola Stojanovic - (1880-1964) was a politician and lawyer from Mostar. Before WW I he was very active in opposing the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. He was considered an expert on Bosnia Hercegovina and was an adviser for that region during the Peace Conference oh 1918-19.

4. Jovan Cvijic - 1865-1927 is considered the founder of modern geographic sciences in Serbia.

5. Vaso Cubrilovic (b. 1897) was a historian, teacher and politician. As a youth he was in the Young Bosnia political movement and was involved in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo. This assassination started WW I. After the war he was a high school teacher and professor in Belgrade.

6. Stevan Moljevic - (b. 1888) was a lawyer in Banja Luka before the war. In 1941 he fled to Montenegro and was an adviser to General Draza Mihajlovic. He released his memorandum on June 30th 1941 in Niksic, Montenegro 2 months before he joined the Chetnik National Committee as its executive counsel.

7. Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences - The Memorandum of the SANU released in 1986 is written in such a way that it acts as a call to arms for the Serbian people, and justifies any actions taken that will insure the security of "threatened" Serbia,

  • Other than your title there's no single piece of truth in this video charade. Taking things out of their context could make even Bible look like Mein Kapf. How can Greater Serbia be an ideology? Do you know what ideology is? Greater Serbia could only be a small part of bigger picture, but this is just an illustration how sweepingly mistaken this video is. It is harder to prove that nations like Macedonians, Montenegrians or Bosnians even existed than that evil 19c. Serbia sought to enslave them.

  • @photiosthefirst ...Ideology: A system of ideas and ideals, esp. one that forms the basis of economic or political policy: 2. The ideas and manner of thinking of a group, social class, or individual...This video is just restating what was written by these people mentioned above. So how can it be wrong if I am just repeating what they wrote....Also You are saying that these countries you listed did not exist.....that was all Serbia right and these evil people came and stole Serbian land.....?

  • @VeritasVosLiberabii And this is coming from a proud Montenegrian.

  • @photiosthefirst Thats nice for you that you are a proud Montenegrin. You should be proud...You never said why this video is wrong...? What is wrong is what Garasanin wrote in Nacrtanije..or the Outline...Most Serbs take that as their Bible..They think that they are superior to everyone and that they are Gods chosen people..how sick is that?

  • @Illyria007

    What is a retart Harold?

  • @photiosthefirst

The only fiction is Great Serbia.Croatians, Montenegrians, Bosniacs, Macedonias and Kosovars are fact.

Fact is that only Serbians are Serbians. You may be Serbian from Montenegro... but you should also recognize rights for people that are proud to be Montenegrians... and Montenegrians only.

  • @3SRBIJACCCC

    Suck my dick chetnik!

  • @photiosthefirst shtovakikan is from bosnia or herzegovina, when the ottomans came ppl from Montenegro and hecegovina fled to sumadija and dalmacija, montenegro and hecegovina were all part of bosnia and bosnia has only shtovakian dialect so its bosnian u speak, croats have cajkavski and kajkavski, serbs also have torlacki (south serbia) and some others, bosnia has only shtovakian. vuk karadzic came to bosnian villages to write the first "serbian dictionary" same for ljudvit gaj, Bosnian only

  • THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER SEEN ABOUT BALKAN POLITICS. THIS DESERVES THE NOBEL PRIZE!!

  • Well done!

  • @VeritasVosLiberabii Vuk Karadzic also spoke just about scientific linguistic facts. Croats speak the same language as Serbs, starting from Lyudevit Gay and VIenna Literary Agreement in 1850. Serbian Shtokavian dialect spoken by Serbs across the Balkans and some Croats, living in immediate Serb proximity in Austria, became standardized common language, while true Croatian language Chakavian and Kaykavian slowly died off as a language. Therefore, Croats owe their current language to the Serbs.

  • @VeritasVosLiberabii That is why Nachertanie is entirely legitimate 19c. document, like many other similar documents in Europe of that time. Nachertanie was secret government document only to be publicized in early 20c. All other writings mentioned in this flawed video are works of private individuals that never became government programs. Private individuals in countries with freedom of speech have right to publish everything including their visions on national problems and neighboring nations.
