Here are a few things to think about. Are you sure you are not in a cult already ? Not all cults use all of these things some cults don't use any. Not everyone organization that does these things IS a cult use you head about it before you leave a comment.

@Guffrus yea dude... that is a cult. you need to get your mom out of that asap. A lot of ppl think that cults make you kill yourself or do crazy things, however there are lots of cults that just take your money. they could be teaching very useful and beneficial things which is what brought your mother there in the first place however I am willing to bet that she paid a great deal of money to become a member of EFT and continues to pay them. good advice is everywhere, don't pay for it.

My Mother is involved in Emotional Freedom Technique and i am deeply concerned that this is a cult and that she has been indoctrinated.

I do not know a great deal about what she may have been doing but has been involved in this stuff for many years now and it has become a religion for her to the point now where i feel that push comes to shove she would side with her religion over me and i do not know what to do, i will never accept EFT as valid but do not want to oppress her right to hold belief

aww there was a really good video about how cults and bias medias brainwash however it was probably removed because someone flagged it as spam because it simply sais that cults keep you away from meat and some suck-ass vegetarians found that offencive!!! :(

The Bible is a Bronze Age book of myth. After the unicorns and talking animals and men walking on the water and a 600 year old goat herder building a Titanic out of desert shrubs, the Prince rides up on his White Horse, rescues the princess, marries her, and takes her away to live happily ever after in his mansion in the sky. Only those inside the delusion can take this seriously. To everyone else it is obviously a fairy tale. ALL churches are cultic because the BOOK is cultic.
