Rekindling the Reformation is an 11-part series of inspiring and relevant multimedia presentations on the pivotal issues of the Reformation and how they relate to present day. Dr. Walter Veith clarifies the disputes that led to the horrific and bloody persecutions of the Dark Ages and demonstrates the urgency of understanding the same principles that are still under attack today.

Millions of faithful servants died for pivotal truths found in the Word of God, such as the identity of the Antichrist and salvation by grace alone. Their sacrifice succeeded in subduing an empire and making freedom of religion and thought possible. But, their success was short-lived.

Through the centuries since the Reformation, we have lost the beliefs the reformers stood for. We have allowed Gods truth to be mixed with error. Today, we reap the repercussions of our lethargic neglect. The Roman Empires wound is healed, and politicians and heads of state follow without reluctance.

This series is not a history lesson. It is a call to rekindle the principles of the Reformation and to re-examine the fundamental truths upon which the Reformers such as Calvin, Luther, and Zwingli stood.

  • @kindave1 Well brother, looks like THE CHURCH as you stated, has accomplished their goal by keeping you ignorant since you'd rather listen to latin. No one else but the pope and the poor ignorant people that refuse to study the bible say he's the vicar of christ. Who gave him that title? did Jesus? Did God? I sincerely doubt it.

  • Great video mate! Walter Veith is speaking the truth, almost all of christianity has fallen for the genius counter reformation, staged by the RCC. The vatican Jesuit stormtroopers have been infiltrating and counterfeiting protestant churches and doctrines for centuries, now its time to go back to what the reformers taught!

  • Also, in that very same chapter where Christ is supposed to have 'given the keys of the kingdom' to Peter, he thereafter calls Peter "Satan", so obviously Peter was just a sinner, the same as we all are. Every one of us is given t he keys to the kingdom when we accept Christ personally and sincerely, as our Saviour. That is what the Bible says, and God does not lie.

  • God's church is not the Catholic affiliation. It is all revealed in the Bible - Jesus did not hand the keysof the Kingdom to Peter, but all His disciples. Also, where He said "Thou art Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My church" he was not referring to Peter as the Rock, but Himself. The Greek for Peter is 'petros', and for rock it is 'Petra'. The Jesuits have changed "Petra" to Petros in new revised Bible versions esp. the NIV. The truth will come out - it cannot be destroyed.

  • @Lysimachus78 Jesus established only ONE Church. History can attest that it is the Catholic Church. To propose otherwise is ignorance of truth and history. There is a difference between theological speculation and truth. In the Catholic Church, we enjoy the freedom to make different theological speculations on the same truth just as when you look at a diamond from different angles, you can look at it at different perspectives but it is the same diamond. There is nothing wrong with this.

  • Dr Walter Veith needs our most sincere prayers! He and his dear family are being bombarded daily from satan and the evil beings of this world. If Mr Veith is to continue to teach us, we must put a hedge about him with our most sincere prayers! Protecting him IS protecting God's truths! Be brave my brother, we stand with you.

I agree that the Church is ONE body, and of the same mind and of the same judgment. This certainly isn't realized in the Catholic Church. Every Catholic you talk to has different viewpoints on theological matters--and vastly different I might add. As I have already stated, the body of Christ continues through a spiritual line, a spiritual seed. Ecclesiastical lineage has no bearing on spiritual lineage. Christ's Church, I believe, continued through the Protestant movement.

  • @Lysimachus78 You need both literal and spiritual listening so you can clearly understand good ecclesiology. On the other hand, you need reason as well. Certainly, the Bible speaks of the Church as the Body of Christ - one and the same. Literal and spiritual reading of scriptures will point to this reality. On the other hand, we have to be reasonable. The Church is ONE - one body, one belief. To believe otherwise would be unreasonable and would be against Logos.
