The video is not called like the song itself. That's on purpose. I have chosen "Five thousand miles" because it is the most important line of the song for me and the message I wanted to deliver with the tribute. I know how the song is called and that Morten has written it, as I wrote in the discription. ;-) "Spanish Steps" is one of my favourites of Morten's solo records.

Morten could never go wrong in anything he does. He grew his hair long and carelessly tied it behind his head. I don't go with cycling shorts on a man especially when going onstage. But when Morten did it. He nailed it. Going with the fashion of the times is beneath him. All it takes are genuine good looks, talent beyond compare, and charm that can melt hearts everywhere. Honestly, he doesn't need a shirt to go onstage. Come to think of it he doesn't need clothes at all to fill an arena!!

Hi! Actual the original name of this song is 5000 MILES. It's written by the norwegian songwriter and artist Torstein Flakne (member of the groups The Kids, Stage Dolls etc). Stage Dolls didn't record the song. In 1992 5000 Miles is recorded on the norwegian trumpet player Ole Edvard Antonsen's album Tour de Force. In 1995, Bjørn Nessjø, the producer of Tour de force AND Harket's solo album suggested the song for Morten. And it became a huge success for the second time.

Outstanding video, thank you so much for sharing. Like you I miss Morten very much. I loved a-ha, but Morten stands alone by himself as a singer and amazing man. I too hope that he is not silent for very long. I hope there will be a new solo album soon. I think maybe he needs to rest awhile & then regroup & come out with the most sensational solo album ever! I wish him all the best! Don't forget us Morten... we are still here waiting to hear the BRILLINAT voice again!
