Karl starts with a quotation from Chanel, because when anyone said to her, she was just lucky and she answered, she's working hard and is not having luck. But for Karl it IS luck to have work and that's why he doesn't like this quotation. He's saying, that Germans are known for their hard and good work and Diane's definitely working hard, but she's a woman who represents beauty and charme and all that stuff,too.

@calendanime He's going on with his personal contact to Diane, because he knows her since she's 15 and they are neighbours in Paris.Sometimes they meet in the middle of the night, just to take some photos and he remembers when he first met Diane. There was a casting and Diane was sitting between many other girls, but he just had eyes for her, because she had something the other girls had not. And now, many years later, she's having a great career and nobody knows the other girls.

@calendanime He continues with Diane's ability to speak fluently 3 languages. He's able to speak German, French and English, too, but not in THAT way. Most French people think Diane's a French, too, because of her great language and she's not the "typical German" .. And for him she's not like Romy Schneider, too, even if many people compare the two women. Diane's life isn't a big tragedy and he thinks she's born for luck. That's why he's happy to give Diane the award - He loves and admires her!

Hape Kerkeling sagt nicht noch wirklich was zu Diane, das einzige "Kompliment" kommt dann, als sie mit ihrem Preis die Bühne verlässt, das ist am Ende des Videos mit der Dankesrede von Diane zu sehen ;)

Karl ist der Beste! Eine ehrliche Haut! Ich lieeebe seinen Humor, ich liebe es, wie er andere Menschen beschreibt. Dabei merkt man, wie genau der Menschen in seinem Umfeld beobachtet.

Ich meine mir einzubilden, daß Lagerfeld extrem aufgeregt war. Sieht man auch irgendwie am Ende als er ganz hektisch sein Blatt zusammenfaltet.
