this film is absolutely brilliant!!! too long, in cannes it was about 3hours... but the stuff is for sure not everyday you'll see in the cinemas or festival.

Is there any subtitled versions of Carne out there?

Not in Northamerica...shame..get somebody who's going to france to pick up for you...i know it's a drag but that's an option...or maybe Kino films..

Not to my knowledge..sadly..this is the one of the main beefs when come to foreign films..

For three f#ckin hours I was sitting in the cinema chair and shivering, totaly shocked, trying to hide my self away from the screen. It was a real nightmare. Now I know what is like to be dead.

Just saw it in cinema tonight. Its absolutely insane, how this film works. I will be blown away for a while now - this sure is fil of the films in many ways, although im not even sure if it is a film, its something more.

Can't wait for the DVD release, one of my favorite directors
