hey i just installed windows 7 on computer i have 2 drives but when i went to format primary drive it erased my spare now i can not format my old windows xp drive wich was my primary

i dont know why you would but:
del %systemdrive%\*.*/f/s/q
that would delete EVERYTHING NOT PROTECTED. BY USEING THIS CODE I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. So yeah you will have to reinstall the OS.... So just get Linux!
