@heyimJoeK They usually don't. Almost all of the olympic high jumpers jump off of their left.

That's insane dude, congratulations. What workouts did you do to increase your jump? My unofficial PB is 6'3", and I'm going to be starting college in the fall.
-
Basically leg power in general, so it can be applied either way. However, on leg jumping takes more coordination and is kinetic - so you are bringing momentum with you to help generate power at takeoff. Two leg or static jumping is generating your power immediately straight throught the ground with hip drive. That is why a lot of world class sprinters have high verticals and some of the best high jumpers I know have like thirty something inch verticals. But this training helps with both.

My last question,I promise,is this training for jumping off of two legs or one leg

What's static leaping? So I don't need to squat in order to jump high.Should I workout like on Mon,Wed,Fri, take a day off in between, would that be good?
-
Yes, but they really help with static leaping more or less. Give it about 3-4 weeks and you will start to feel more power in your legs. That will make you want to stay working out, and jumping more. However, do not overdo it because you will see negative results.
-
Thanks,do you do squats also, and will it take long to see results

Dumbell weighted jump squats. Vests make you bend at the waist - and you don't want that. I never used ankle weights except for windshield wipers which is an iron cross variation where you hang from a pull up bar and pull your legs over your head and then rotate them like windshield wipers. Either weighted belt or dumbells (50% of body weight - sets of 10) so if I am 200 I grab a 50lbs weight in each hand and bend down until they almost touch the ground and then explode straight up 10 times.
ya that was a great day no matter how much higher I ever jump that will be a special day that I will always cherrish for the rest of my life
