  • The turning point for England and Germany in world football. The Germans went on to be one of the great teams, England lost the impetus and have never got it back...so far

  • My family and me (aged 9) went out on a hot sunny day to Greenfield. We heard on the radio coming home England were winning 2-0 with 20minutes to go. When we got home - bugger.
