Did the bird survive? Yesterday afternoon, Monday, April 11, 2011, off South Park extension in lower Geneva, or Houston County, Alabama, a mile or so north of County Road 4, I saw an osprey flying over a pond. They are beautiful birds. At first, I thought it was a bald eagle because I could see the white on his head, but as I got closer, I could see it was an osprey.
