@QuirkyGengar But if one forces his/her partner to have sex wouldn't that be considered rape? Whether physical force or coercion? Or do marriage vows cancel one's right to consent or not consent to sex? I'm not trying to pick a fight, we all have beliefs I just wonder why there is no such thing as martial rape according to you. If rape is the act of forcing sex... It it usually used a tool of control in abusive relationships.

@mysphynxspet from what I have gathered by this comment your husband forced sex on you to demoralize you, right? Have you ever denied sex to your husband to punish him or change his behavior? have you ever used sex in any way against your husband by denying it to him or in any other fashion?

@mysphynxspet I am not saying there are no legitimate cases of rape, and if it was any member of my family I'd be pissed but I wouldn't be stupid about it. It also depends on how you define rape. Are we using the legal term or some other definition because honestly legal definitions are some times really fucked up.

@mysphynx On top of that cases where it is in question of consent is far more difficult to disprove then cases where there is question if the person even had sex at all with the "victim". even in cases where there is no DNA evidence people have still gone to jail for rapes they didn't commit. The average sentence for rape is 5-10 yrs. average sentence for false claims of rape is a few weeks. Highschool girls claim rape to get back at BFs or ex BFs yelling date rape to be vicious.

@mysphynxspet I'm sorry I didn't know you made a response. to answer your questions the latest statistic is 1 in 4 claims of rape are false. Women will cry rape if they are caught cheating by their husbands I know of one case personally. I know a guy personally (I am in his wedding photos) who is in jail right now because the woman he was cheating with lied and said he raped her. He plead down because they told him since he is Mexican HE WILL be found guilty for that reason alone.

Rape is evil - no matter if it is in the bedroom, in the street or in prison. It isn't about sex, gentlemen. once again, it wasn't about saying no. he was angry, stronger & he knew I would be demoralized. he told me so. yes, he honestly did. so, it does happen and some husbands will actually own up to it and realize that's what they did. it wasn't about sex at all. he called it a "grudge....."in fact, if sex was on his mind, i would have said yes. i loved making love/having sex with him..often.

@karn33333 - how many women exactly cry rape when nothing happened. i mean, you sound like you know what you're talking about. maybe if there was a bruise? well, no, then she could have just run into a door to "frame" him. i don't guess anything would convince you. what if it was your daughter? your mother? I am sure when you took a philosophy class you had to formulate a basic argument so did I but its still the wrong subject. They cover chemistry in biology class as well but for chemistry you still need a book on chemistry not biology.

@karn33333 I said philosophy because I have been introduced to fallacies and forming arguments through a philosophy course I took some years ago. It is nice how you are nitpicking over the word philosophy. As I said you talk about my arguments being flawed but you don't have flawless arguments either.
