@MrWilliamtom I know that - the John I meant was John Harlan - if I refer to Johnny Olson, I usually call him 'Johnny O' (as did most emcees that he worked with.)

The original Password was the only Goodson-Todman show that Olsen never was the regular announcer. In New York he had too many commitments with To Tell The Truth and Play Your Hunch along with What's My Line?, The original Match Game and Snap Judgement with Ed McMahon. Primarly, Jack Clark was the main announcer along with Lee Vines.
