Bachmann 158s pass on Widnes Vine Yard, one without lights and one with WFRM fitted lights (note - not commercial products we have our own way!)

  • where do you put your tracks? ex: in the attic, garage etc...

  • Great layout but why are the tracks a bit wonky and how do you completly submerge the track so that we can only see the live rail?

  • @Arrivatrains1 The sidings are wonky, the main lines are dead straight - as per the prototype. The inset track is done with builders filler

  • nice I like the track. how do you weather the track without losing electrical connection?

  • The wires are soldered to the underside of the rails, and all the wiring is done before any ballasting is carried out.

  • @beast66606 but surely if the paint was on the tops of the rails then the paint would stop the electricity frm getting to the pickups on the wheels?
