Finally reached Level 999 (cleared 9990 lines) in TetrisDS. There's another video of the feat. here on Youtube.

That's how TetrisDS work. If you keep spinning the piece you can keep it from attaching itself to the pile. There are limits to that, of course.

meh after level 29 or so the blocks dont change in fall speed i remember getting to lvl 278 before my ds ran out of charge :P

Wrong answer. His question was, why did it say "T-SPIN" after a couple of seconds in the video? That was his question. Your answer was right but it didn't really answer his question. :)
