Marvin Gaye - Heard it Through the Grapevine bass play-along

It was 3 am and I decided to play the bass part for Marvin Gaye's version of Heard it Through the Grapevine.

I was never really able to hear the bass well in this song, but then I watched youtube user Jamersonshook's video where he played it and I learned it off of that. I can't yet play a faithful copy of the original song, so what I'm doing here is improvising with the few patterns I know. I hope it sounds ok.

Yeah, both CCR's and Gaye's versions are covers. Gladys Knight's version is the original. The bass in that one is crazy. Same bassist as this version though.
