if you were to wait till actual sun rise, most of the birds have already gone by to wherever they are gonna sit for most the day. from my experiences, i very rarely see birds past 730 or 8.

@omfgmelee Donnelly is a very good WMA went there 2 years ago and have been wanting to go back. also Poco Sabo, although not a WMA, is just awesome but it's kind of hard to get invited, haven't been back there in a while.

@LowCuntryboy I don't hunt there but my dad used to hunt it a lot back in the day. He told me it takes a lot of scoutin because it's pretty big and he said they shot quite a few mallards. That was a long time ago though and I don't know anyone that hunts it a lot. It's kind of weird because I live pretty close to it haha

Southern Gentleman93, i live in SC and hunt a few swamps and on little peedee and black river some. But are some of the WMA's good?

eh if you aint used to it ive hunted sparkleberry alot im hittin elliots in the mornin huntin north slew

sparkleberry is the best but you can get lost easily

if you ever get a chance, come down to Newberry SC and hunt the WMA's. Its some of the best hunting ive ever had. I hunt flooded timber near the Enoree River and theres woodies droppin in left and right!
everyone is up to 3 now. Ducks are a federal bird...
