I have always enjoyed Liza Minelli as a great actress and as a wonderful singer. Also I might be the only person person in the world who cannot compare Liza to her famous Mom and Dad. Liza is extremely talented and I sense she had to work extremely hard to get those talents. Nothing was handed to her.

I agree that she was a totally diffrent talent from her parents. I mean lots of people dont even know she's Judy's daughter. But You can totally hear Judy's voice in hers :) So I think genetically and enviromentallly she was handed a great gift but her career was in no way handed to her

Why is this song considered a breakdown? Not just here, but in the musical in general. I saw Susan Egan do it and she angrily threw her microphone down at the end. Why is that? I can assume some reasons why Sally might be angry while singing this song but i'm not completely sure why....
