2008 Film festival entry - SEEK

This is a short 4min long animation I entered into the 2008 Adelaide Uni film festival.

I got first place in the contest *proud* and won some pretty nice prizes including an awesome HD video camera.

The animation took a total of 20 days to make, and my laptop spent nearly ever night rendering.

I'm in Mech Eng too, I can understand why you made it in the holidays, with the massive workload we get!

Yeh it did take a while to do, but i only had 20 days to do it!

And yeh us engineers have a hell of a lot of homework, thats for sure...

Another excellent production by you!

Great storyline, it has a similar concept to Fire VS Water but it is presented in a new way. Well Done on getting a prize...You deserved it! And I hope that I might one day be as good as you on blender.

My friend is making a mod. Since you have played Gmod you might be used to mods

He needs a good modeler and he can't find one.

I was going to ask if you could help him but i see that you are a very busy person. Going to school and making films for contests

Taught myself with a lot of the good tutorials on the net. Theres a lot out there. I also joined the blenderartists online community, where you can ask questions and post your work etc.

It was within South Australia, mainly in the Adelaide region. But the festival was held at the University i go to, which isnt just for engineering.

Haha yeh i think so, i modified it a bit tho, made it more bassy and slow. Good call though, i didn't even notice. :p

man that was awesome. I really liked the way the metal falling on the floor synched up perfectly to the sounds. The was the realest part. Good job.
