It's hardly fair to judge anyone's voice on an amateur video. I was at this concert and thought Annette did a great job. It's also hardly fair to compare two singers with completely different styles of singing. NW obviously wanted a different style and I for one think it was the right way to go. I get the impression that a lot of people who don't like Annette wouldn't like anyone who wasn't Tarja. Things change, NW have moved on, and I'm just glad they're still making amazing music.

I wish I never had heard this...i don´t wish to ofend anybody, but this sucks!!!! Anette can´t even do the vocals and high notes well..I already saw Tarja in live and Anette is nothing compared to her (vocally speaking). I think we all wish Tarja to return to NW but being realistic, that´s not going to happen any time soon. I just wish that Anette would stick tosongs on Dark Passion play (that are really good) and stop trying tosing songs that she can´t even voclaize.

Your right, but would you rather see nightwish dead or still going ? I think in time Anette will get better and better, youve got to remember that she is rather new to singing. Just give her a bit of time , wait till the next cd is out :) In the meanwhile listen to tarja's solo album lol ...Thanks for the comment , Subscribe !!

haha noo, i got there late so i was forced to go by the backstage door, the view was pretty good but i would much ratehr be up front lol, anette is very good, she will get better as she get used to the band i think...just wait for the next album :) thanks for the comment

I totaly love Anette's voice also. I like how she does the old songs her way and doesn't try and copy Tarja..

i love nightwish with tarja AND annette i dont see the point in insulting one of them theyre both great, but i did wonder how annette would do with this song, just cos it is so operatic, but shes just as amazing at it too!

I really love your Dark Passion Play, Annette, and I do understand that you need to sing old sóng live. But it does not mean that I'm not heartbroken listening to this.

Anyways, hope that you would improve. vWho knows, maybe the sound of a cat also have some charms in it.

I don't like the way she's like "heaaaaaaaaaaaaayaaiiyaaii" in between verses. it's utterly annoying and I'm trying to give this woman a chance but... I miss Tarja...

The problem is you are too used to listen Tarja's voice on that song (me too). But once I stopped trying to hear that voice you just realize it stills sounds cool. She is not trying to sing opera style in that song anyway.
