I'm a little sad that the British Mark 1 or Mark 4 tank did not make this list. They were so successful that everyone else had to get them too. I'm not sure that the number one spot should be awarded to a tank with only a limited combat experience. It has never met another tank on the field of battle, so how we say that it is the greatest ever?

What's the point of all this though? Conventional war has all but died since Vietnam. Almost all the threats facing large conventional Western armies will not come towards them to be gunned down by advanced machines like this. China, for example, doesn't need to lift a single military finger. They already own the vast majority of US debt. Jihadists and insurgents fight from the shadows. If every single Leopard or US Abrams disappeared tomorrow, it wouldn't made much of a difference.
