  • Yes. Good observation! We had the WSP trooper trail the bus as a safety measure.

  • Yes, the child was an actor. She is now 18 years old and in college. Thank you for being safe around school buses.

  • you killed her best friend..

  • @KevinSun242 Yes it is a Crown Vic... (unmistakable car)

  • @KevinSun242 Sure is. If the make/model wasn't obvious enough, a lot of "unmarked" Washington State Patrol units have a license plate in the format "### WSP" :)

  • i hope that the police in willimantic,ct, watch this freaking video people dont give a damn on main st. always running my lights. and think that the ticket is $500 im not sure.

  • :P 2:18 isn't that crown vic behind the school bus an unmarked police car?

  • @OpusMagister

The Washington State Patrol Video Unit produced the program in partnership with WSP Commercial Vehicle Division and the Superintendent of Public Instruction.

  • I drive a school bus In va And I cant tell You how Many people Run my lights, But they for get that might be your child on my bus getting ready to get off or cross the street!!!!

  • i have a feeling that the majority of the people watching this video here on youtube are not the ones who are running the signs.

  • @wspgovandmedia Glad you posted this. Thanks for doing your part to raise awareness of the need to stop for school bus red lights. So many people just blow right by when I'm loading and unloading. While it's true that a lot of people just don't care, to be fair, I don't think it's taught in driver's ed courses...at least not in the behind-the-wheel portion (it wasn't when I learned to drive). Some people probably just don't know (not that that's any excuse).
