INGREDIENTS
Lauki - Bottle gourd - 1lb/450 gm
Corriander leaves - few stems
Ginger root - small piece
Green chili - 1
Fresh lemon juice - 1 tea spoon
Table Salt - 1 tea spoon
Jeera/cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
Asofoetida/hing - 1/4 tea spoon
Tumeric powder/haldi - 1/4 tea spoon
Dry corriander powder - 1/3 tea spoon
Cooking Oil - 2 tea spoon
Water - 1 cup
PROCESS
Wash vegetables. Peel lauki/bottle gourd. Cut into small 1 cm pieces.
Cut ginger, green chili and corriander into small pieces as well.
Heat oil on medium-high heat. When you see few fumes add jeera seeds. Stir. When the seeds splutter add hing
powder. Stir. Remove from heat. Quickly add haldi. Stir. Add corriander powder. Stir. Add ginger and green chili.
Stir for 10 secs.
Add cut lauki/bottle gourd. Add salt. Mix well. Replace on medium heat. Add 1 cup water. Close the pressure cooker.
Cook for 2 whistles. Reduce heat to low. Cook for 15 more mins. Turn heat off. Open pressure cooker after 15 mins.
Add cut corriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well.
Offer to Sri Sri Radha & Krishna with fresh rotis/bread.
what is this irretating music,u made lukhi mess............lukhi have water in it y v have to add water and y v have to pressure cook it.................if u want mess u can,
