Rodney was amongst THE best players City ever signed...he scored THE best goal I ever saw (not televised that day) an overhead kick at the scoreboard end against QPR...as they say worth the admission fee just to watch him lace his boots'!

Malcolm is talking rubbish. Rodney had all the ability, City just didn't know how to handle him. There was also an element of jealousy show by the existing players. A typical City period however the 4 years Rodney was with us I wouldn't swap for anything. Rodney was a fine footballer and a great entertainer.

MARSHY was a brilliant player......but he wasn't fit when he came to Maine Road and Allison played him regardless which was silly. Having said that I honestly don't believe we would have won the title anyway....and to be honest Rodney was such a brilliant entertainer it almost didn't matter
