Nick Edmonds is a man who makes tree trunks into beautiful works of art, using a chain saw and various knives and chisels. This visually beautiful program relates his process of creation almost entirely without words, following Edmonds as he selects the wood and forms it into an outdoor sculpture that is not only to be viewed but also lived with and upon. 7 minutes, color.
Produced by Peter Feinstein for the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities. Directed and photographed by Peter Hoving.
