Repost of the Richard Addinsel piece from the 1941 RKO film "Dangerous Moonlight". up to the the finale. My playing is not necessarily faster this time, but is more accurate, and the piano is much better, so I hope that it is worth the repost. (I recently had 11 days off for Christmas break & had decided to use the last part to get this piece uploaded. I hope to to better, but I currently can't practice due to sciatica, so it probably will be a while.)

  • lOVE T !!!

  • Thank you! :-)

  • Great job! You have my total envy - wish I could play like that. Dunno if this helps - but I posted the clip from Dangerous Moonlight (1941) where Louis Kentner actually plays the piece as Richard Addinsel himself presumeably wanted it. It's a little faster and moodier. I'm not criticising mind; I couldn't do it!

  • Glad you liked the clip. :) I'm no speed demon, but I have to say that sometimes I actually prefer a piece played more slowly than is the usual. In the clip you posted the music was regrettably interrupted by the actual movie going on, but it was interesting to hear; I'll have to have another go once my leg has recovered.

  • I love this song!!! thanks for posting it!

  • You're welcome! :) I'd been promising to post the rest of it for so long now I was beginning to feel like Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown (I'm probably showing my age with that reference! ;) ).

  • No way, thats one of my favorite shows, I watch that part a lot! Its true though, the only difference is charlie brown does a flip and then lands on his back.

  • Glad you liked it; it's a challenging piece, but worth the effort. There are a few other vids of it on YouTube; one young man actually manages to fit it all in under the 10 minute mark! O_o
