  • Best announcer of all time is Don Fischer of Indiana. Does both football and basketball. Been a staple of IU sports for decades. He can even make an IU football game sound exciting.

  • @Richieb75 coming from an IU alum, couldn't agree more. Had the privilege of meeting Don. He is a great guy and his story is incredible.

  • Best announcer of any sport of all time is a two way tie between both exclusive Pittsburgh announcers. The late Myron Cope-the guy who started the "terrible towels" that gets you all shaking in your booties. And Mike Lange, the announcer for the Penguins, famous quotes like "Look out Loretta", "Shave my face with a rusty razor" and most well known probably "Ladies and gentlemen, Elvis has just left the building" combined with the die hard sports fans of Pittsburgh these guys were/are the best.

  • That was some great announcing but some greater inside handoffs holy shit
