Hi, Ms. Day has a videos on her channel about why she picked her Janome sewing machine and her favorite quilting tools. The "marshmallows" are called "Pinmoors." A lot of quilters use them with pins instead of safety pins to baste their quilts before quilting them. Hope this helps.

I'm looking at getting a janome, would that be good. Why are you wearing gloves and what are the marshmallows at the ends of your pins called how often do you use those?

Another brilliant video that doesn't make me feel like a klutzy beginner. Lol, no "quilt police" here!

Thank you Leah for this video. It is so helpful. I am a beginner and I use my home quilting machine to finish my quilts. I need a lot more practice in perfecting my techniques. Thank you again
