When I was a little girl, my biological father left my mother to pursue relationships with other men. He rarely sent us child support and my mom never finished college. We were homeless, staying with relatives and sometimes living out of our car. One night, when I was maybe seven years old, I was very frightened and scared. Suddenly, I looked up and saw a man dressed in white. He sat held me in his arms and comforted me.

I know the Savior lives and I cry when I hear this song.

@LogicfromLogic and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Blend them together; as terrible as it sounds, the court would give them only one sentence instead of multiple, like they deserve. Child Neglect is awful, because it's not always so obvious. It is well hidden at times, which is why it's so bad. But child abuse and neglect, though similar in so many ways, is different in it's own. The jail sentence is high, and probably will lead to a life sentance.
