I understand Tony's take on the "time" issue. I think the same for the soul, and how we actually will look when we get into God's presence. I don't know the answers, but I do know that when that day arrives, I won't care how I look. I believe our consciousness will be different and we will understand more than we do now. Our minds at present aren't able to handle God's reality. Mark, I think it is simple. I believe God wants us to come as a child, fascinated at His wonders, which Heaven will be.
I always enjoy hearing Tony speak. He was one of the speakers at Creation in 1990 that I remembered being there. :) Thanks Mark! I enjoy these discussions between the two of you.
It's Sunday- where is the Saturdays with Tony and Mark? I mean Mark and Tony. I have been bitin my nails all week waiting for this. : ( I'm hooked. " Yeah but you are ugly in many different ways" HA! < My favorite line.
Mark: Thanks for making things easier to understand, for most of us plain folks simpler is better, it gets the meaning across better. Webster's dictionary say's the soul is the seat of our feelings and emotions. The bible say's our soul and our spirit are divisible (Hebrew's 4:12) the spirit is the part of man which knows his mind, (I Cor 2:11). The soul is the seat of the affections, desires, and so of the emotions, and of the active will, the self.
Great show! Very interesting-but I'm more confused about the 'soul' now. Mary Magdalene didn't recognize Jesus outside the tomb. Jesus had to say, 'It is I' so she would know. I agree that our 'soul' may be our entire makeup but, I thought once you die you left the body here and got a 'new' one, although I'm hardly an authority on the subject. I too would be disappointed if I had to drag this 'nose' along for the ride to Heaven! It would slow down my journey.
Mark, The brilliance and intellect of this man just blows me away, but it's his love of Jesus that makes even more of an impact on me. What an amazing man of God.

i really liked it. I thought the end was funny when Mark started to get frustrated when he was trying to explain what he thought the soul was. lol
