Got my twisted voodoo magic
And my wicked backwoods ways
And some might find it tragic
But my twisted voodoo pays

In the misty bayou
In an old ramshackle shack
You can find powers divine
And shady magic black

Lover, hater
Mischief-maker
Twisted voodoo pays

Want me to read some chicken bones,
And decipher fate?
How grim it is all depends
On my mood as of late

Most say that I'm an oddity
They haven't got a clue
I won't deny it because I
Take credit when it's due

Sly and clever
Never better
Wicked backwoods ways

I'm certainly not dangerous
But my sleeves are full of tricks
Cons and lies are alright
To add into the mix

Got my long black waistcoat
And my old top hat
You left 'em on the clothesline
Now you're never gonna get 'em back

Great deceivers
Make believers
No matter what they say

Stick some pins in voodoo dolls
And cards? I have a stash!
Conjure up some spirits
To make some easy cash

Wanna have a little talk with
Someone on the other side?
Come on down to my town
Got a line a mile wide
