PART2

Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends
Chaos Mode
Battle of Yang Ping Gate
Nu Wa (Rapier Moveset)

-----

Nu Wa's maximization

Recommended Weapon:
Medium Weight
Speed / Fill / Attack / Musou / Charge
All right, these weapon stats, particularly the Musou increase is an important bonus. Im going through reviews of the character analyzes I've done and the Tier List, and a common thing I need to change is Musou and Fill configurations based on the following concept:
Musou0 + Fill20
is roughly equal to
Musou20 + Fill40
in terms of musou filling effort.
The second configuration obviously has her equipped with the Ginseng. So typically, the first setup would not have Ginseng but the Way of Musou instead. It turns out that having the second config with a longer musou bar but a regular musou is more damaging than the first config with a shorter musou bar but a True Musou. So I basically need to change all of the ideal setups that have a short Musou and the Way of Musou item.

Recommended Items:
Light Orb
Tiger Amulet / Green Scroll / Ginseng / True Way of Musou / Wind Scroll

Nu Wa is perhaps one of the most challenging characters to use. Mastering her can be as hard as mastering Taishi Ci, Huang Gai, or Sun Ce. Nu Wa and Taishi Ci when tricked out with the best possible setup (maximized offense with sustainable defense), both have a optimization method that relies very heavily on filling musou, and then using it right after it's filled. This obviously suggests limitations, and of course for maximized gameplay requires very exact crowd size estimations, and officer locations. The Light Orb is very important to allow more versatility with her C3, so that if she has a partially filled musou, she can guarantee a successful offense against officers. But with the Light Orb and when C1 is the only musou filling option (and it usually is), the most efficient way to use her is to purposely miss officers with her C1, but at the same time bait them well enough to time her musou to hit them right after C1 finishes.

That's step one or concept one for Nu Wa's ideal gameplay. The second strategy explains the importance of the Light Orb and versatility with C3. Consistently filling Musou with her C1 and perfectly timing it so that you miss officers with her C1 strikes but luring the officer during the process isn't something that's humanly possible. Here's where the 1) Light Orb, 2) C3, and 3) the reason for a setup omitting the Way of Musou, all come together.
If after she fills her Musou with C1 and timing to unleash the Musou against the officer is unsuccessful, Nu Wa has a need to waste her musou for defense. This is a severe moveset limitation, but there's an elegant solution. Tap the Musou to make sure it's a short one, so that you'll end with a partially filled musou. Now she needs to lure crowds for a short moment to plan for C3 to refill her musou, and with the Light Orb, a Musou opening is guaranteed. Having the Way of Musou forces her to step down to a short Musou bar because of filling issues, and not only is the damage worsened, but this process of C3 Musou refilling takes a lot longer since her True Musou ending scatters the crowd in all directions.

This setup is easily the most efficient and gives this moveset the most versatility. The first 3-Officer-Crowd in the beginning shows basically all these points on Nu Wa's maximization.
1) The first officer kill shows proof that a long regular Musou gets a 1-Musou-KO, and shows how easy it is when approaching officers with a filled musou.
2) The second officer kill explains visually how to purposely miss officers with C1 but fill musou along the way, AND time it for the officer to be close to her when it finishes.
3) The third officer kill shows how her C3 and the Light Orb, and not having a True Musou, is the natural option after failing to time her Musou properly after filling it using her C1.

Bah...sorry about PART2.....I thought I didn't think Zhang Lu would vanish to his main camp so I wasted that important Musou Rage.
Proves I don't play this game THAT much :P

  • lol I harsh messed up on Zhang Lu though....didnt know he'd retreat again to the main camp...

Aww man I usually try not to kill these hyper dudes too quickly. Makes the video more entertaining. But still nice to show that he can be owned very quickly
