@svendbang Sorry I'm just really confused as to how you would know this isnt a real Zozef bouzouki? You've never played it before, seen it in person, and even if you did, how would YOU know if it was or wasnt real? I find it kind of disrespectful coming out of nowhere with your bias as a result of having a bad experience with a zozef. It doesnt mean every other Zozef you see/hear is fake too.

I don´t think that this is a real Zozef, it just has his label on it.
In 1994 I bought an instrument from Zozef that turned out to be a "maimou":
Maybe Zozef created some breath-taking bouzoukis but he was greedy cheater too.

I dont know if it a Origin Zozef i heard from many famous Luthier that many bouzouki from Zozef are Maimou! He buy it from another Luthier the Bouzouki and he make only his Mistical work on the Bouzouki and then he sold it for Gold to the buyer often also to Famous Bouzouki player. Zozef was an very poor Luthier but an excellent Luthier for sound that was his Talent. Thanasis Polykandriotis told me that he buy it from the store from Zozef .Maybe its a maimou but the bouzouki has an Zozef sound.

....Thanasis has the same BOuzouki again only in Trixordo. But its unimportant if it is an Original or not i hope you like the clip :D but you are in right there are many maimou sthn Piatsa :D!!!
