IMO, the Styx song's that Tommy Shaw always sang were much the best of the band's catalog. I like Dennis DeYoung. I think, he too, has an amazing voice. But the song's that Dennis DeYoung sang I always felt made Styx sound far to pop oriented. But when they crank up song's like this one, Blue Collar Man, Renegade, Crystal Ball, etc...., that's when they really and truly sound like like a hard rock band, IMO.
