  • I always hated this interviewer. He was such a moron. "You aren't frightened of death, are you?" What a horrible question. What's she supposed to say? "Yeah, I am. I'm terrified." We could SEE she was ill and we could TELL she didn't have long to live. Why do these stupid interviewers have to ask such incredibly personal questions and force these celebrities into horrible corners? What could she have possibly said? "No, I'm not."? What's the point of his question? He was AWFUL.

  • Im related to her (: im proud to be too :)

  • She was a star. But robbins was the start of people having NO TALENT, but still get a TV show.

  • Always the drama queen......had every man (& often!) she could. It's so easy to become "religious" when you've had it & them all, plus killed a man (albeit deservedly). Too bad she wasn't a 'real' person. She hadn't the grace & love of the "little people" as did Jean Harlow or Rita Hayworth.

  • Those old Hollywood stars knew how to look fabulous till the end...God Bless them!

  • What great faith. This sort of faith is a perfect antidote to our own cynical age. I love her optimism.

  • I watched Madame X last night and have been obessed for a couple of hours searching for her life story ,she sure was beautiful in her time .I love the old stars

  • @leela1970 Beautiful Sentiment I agree

  • I hate Roblin Leach

  • She was always acting. She might not have gotten throat cancer is she hadn't been a chain smoker for some many decades

  • @MovieMusicFun1 um no. Cheryl says she is still 100 percent the person who killed that crazed mob fucker

  • there was a crime show where they said Chery l Crane finally comes clean. Did Cheryl say that Lana actually killed Stomponato in self defense.

  • @tinagetmetheaxe He always sounded as if he was standing 10 feet from the mic and shouting.

  • @rellenoz

In 1994, she was aged 73.

  • Lana was pure sex in "Johnny Eager "co starring Robert Taylor much as Elizabeth Taylor was in "A Place In The Sun". Cancer due to smoking claimed her, John Wayne, Gary Cooper and Bogart among others. She led a troubled life and yet carried on remaining positive to the end.

  • Roch202020 is a left-wing loon.

  • Lana though older and ill, she still had that beautiful dimple.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • God Bless you, Mrs. Turner...you were a true legend, a true star...so much class.

  • Still acting and using the P.R. machine til the end. You can tell she's acting this whole thing, but that's how they used to do "interviews".

  • Poor thing, all the "God this... God that... ', made her seem like a mad lady!

  • Actresses like Lana Turner are what real legends are made of. Old Hollywood's studio system kept tight grip on their stars and back then you rarely seen any actor do the stupid things they do today. Granted the PR dept had police and media ppl on their payroll to silence their stars shananigans. Today these no talent hacks who make millions are lef to run wild and to make fools of themselves & they dont project the star quality old Hollywood actors did. It not worth going to the movies today.

  • Lana looks GOOD. How old was she?

  • @Featureman Great anecdote.

  • who is the commentator he sounds as if he has swallowed helium

  • right sure she was beautiful and great actress but makes me laugh when she gets older turns to god she had many husbands and lovers drinking and drugs surely she didnt think about god then

  • I found her to be be acting and somewhat plastic in her interviews over the years - sorry here. She was a beauty and vivacious, and her best performance was on the stand during for Johnny's murder case.

  • She was still beautiful when I danced with her on Falcon Crest in the 1980s. I was standing in for Mel Ferrer and he also was directing so he had me do the scene so he could watch. She was fabulous. She also was very beautiful/
