my mate said his temp is high he grows in a tent and the temp is 100 by the tops and 85-90 by the side of the tent he uses a 400w and he said he might have the bulb to close wats your recemendations he has the shade a foot and a 1/4 away please help as soon as thanks he just wants better bud and having the shade to far might mess that up please help

hold your hand above the plants see if its to hot for your hand,if so raise the light ,but with a 400 watt light he can get real close 8 inches maybe without much worry.he needs to get as much air movemeant and fresh air in the tent and he will be fine,a small blower should do the job he will be fine.

but is his normal for the temp to be 90-100 by the tops and foilage and 85 by the side of his tent
