I love this song but have found the English translations somewhat confusing. With much help from masami43, this is my attempt at making the beautiful lyric with its delicate subtleties and unspoken sentiments easier to appreciate for non-Japanese viewers.

PS After the translation exercise, now I understand why Teresa has tears in her eyes at the end of the performance.
