@thesickleone the "genetic immune deficiency" has a medical name. in my case its a disorder, atopic dermatitis...triggered by the onset of allergies to certain foods and allergens. it is in fact always genetic. the cases that you speak of where people weren't allergic to things before is still offset later in life because they are genetically predisposed since birth. certain conditions just trigger the allergy, but the allergy was still technically there. sources: my experience and my doctors

@tootyrc It might be a genetic inmune deficiency to some toxins or a malfunction in toxins detection in your system, like the hypersensitivity to specific drugs some people have. Maybe what people in your family have is a genetic condition that makes easy for them to have certain allergies. I've heard of people that becomes allergic to certain food after moving to a new place, trying new spices or getting an infection, but weren't allergic before to that at all.

@thesickleone are you forreal?! allergies are definitely genetic...i have a history of food allergies and it runs in my family
