You may look into the Choate scope mount or the SKS. It is rock solid, you can still clean your SKS without loosing zero. The Choate is mounted by drilling and taping the reciever by a gun smith. You can still use iron sights with the Choate installed. Your SKS looks great!

I can hit a skoal can everytime at about 80 yards with my Sks iron sites , and why do you need some much ammo for deer hunting if you use all that to kill a deer there won't be much meat left lol but why so many mag why not just one 30 rd

ok i got a new tapco gas tube filed it to fit and fits tight as hell but when firing say about 2 or 3 rounds the gas tube lever pops up can anyone tell me why this might be happening?

i hunt with an ak, and i love the effects of the round on NY deer. the x39 really isnt half-bad round at all.
