Gov't forcing banks to give loans to people who could not afford them is what has brought this mortage meltdown and effected economies worldwide.

A Democratic power grab isn't going to fix anything. Only lowering taxes puts money back into peoples hands- which is the only way to get the economy back on track.

American CEOs and Wall Street sent way too many jobs to China. In 2006 China sold us 256 billion in goods. We sold China 56 billion in goods (most of that was coal and other raw goods). A 200 billion trade imbalance. We now have trade imbalances with every country in the World. Newt, shut the fuck up.

Just so you're not dilusioned...the capital gains tax is for everyone with any kind of investment, which does not only include the rich. Certainly interesting that you don't consider in your rhetoric the absolute failure of the "stimulus bill".
