Zia specializes in The Sacred Dances. These dances consist of Sufi Temple Dances from the works of George Gurdjieff, Sufi Whirling Dances from the Mevlana Sufi Order and the Odissi Dances which are also the temple dances of Orissa, India. All the 3 dance forms are linked by a common thread - devotion to the divine form and the expression of love for divinity. For the first time, these three diverse dance forms have been merged together to create a spectacular imagery of sacred movements. Zia is the originator of Sufi Splendour (TM), a presentation of The Sacred Dances, Sufi Music accompanied with Sufi Poetry. Zia also specializes in marine dances (underwater dance forms) having done several underwater music videos including MTV Style Awards 2007. Zia resides and works from Mumbai, India.
