There is a crisis in America. One of epic proportions. A crisis that threatens the very existence of a people. It is a crisis centered on the premature deaths of one particular group: Young Black Males. Over the last two years, journalist John W. Fountain has examined the issue in Chicago for a forthcoming documentary "Spirit of Cain." As a journalism professor at Roosevelt University, he assigned to his students the task of examining some of the efforts across the city aimed at helping young black men beat the odds. The class project, "Saving Our Sons."
