This is how I hid my amateur radio antenna.. U am running a sidekick vertical that I hid it in a PVC pipe (painted black) joined together with a light mounted on top. I then put some flameless candles that are on a timer for ambiance. It looks really nice at night and my neighbors complimented me on how great it works. Oh and by the way I worked a station in Italy the other day from my QTH in NC..

  • Its very straight but it does flex a bit in the wind. We had some big gust come through over the last year. Enough to blow over my gas grill but the poles stays true. I could make it more rigid by fastening the top section tight but its nice to be able to get inside to inspect the antenna. If you want more details on the build send me a message and I'll hook you up..73!

  • Thanks! I was surprise at how well it performs. and my neighbors complement me all the time on the "Light" :)

  • Too cool!

  • appears to be a bit crooked would luv to see more details tho, nice spy antenna
