I am so wanting the Vertical Sleeve instead of RNY. I am almost done with all my weight management appointments in fact I have 2 left on 6-16 and on 6-30 which also happens to to be my appointment for my psych evaluation. So I should be meeting with the surgeon about the middle of July. I was then told that I will the be scheduled for my surgery. I hope he tells me he can do the Vertical Sleeve, why did you choose VSG?

Congratulations Sandra on almost being done with your WM appts! I chose VSG b/c it was too risky to have dr. mess w/ my intestines. After 3 c-sections there's a good chance my intest. are enveloped in a bunch of fat. More risk of int. bleeding and the intest. being too heavy & ripping. Also, some friends have done the VSG and it hasn't worked, so they went on to RNY & are doing awesome. But biggest decision factor was $ - I self paid for all preop,surg & hospital myself. hugs!

WOW!!!! 43 lbs is AWESOME!!!! Yeah for the "friend" leaving...she wasn't welcome anyway...LOL I am sooo excited to get my sleeve, even if I have all the pain that you have had, the weight loss is worth it to me. You are lookin' great girl, the weight loss is showing big time in your face, and it's great to see that you were feelin' good enough to put your eyebrows on today...lmao You crack me up!!!! Hope you have another successful week, and that you feel better every day! ♥
