does a wired connection mean a wired connection to the internet? so does that mean i need to plug a internet connection to the ps3 for it to work and it wont work with a wireless broadband?

there is no need for an japanese account. you can download and use it with every account, no matter which country you choose. only go into the store and write into the searchbar " adhoc" and then download it
