This is an overview of my SDS Interceptor Body Armor. It is a great vest, I got it for 60 dollars from entrygear.com. It was used by our troops in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Anaconda.

I will be on the search for soft armor inserts in medium size for this IBA, if I can't do that, I'll have no choice but to either make some out of some decently thick and firm EVA foam or sleeping pad foam

As a side note, if you hear a yappy barking sound, that is my 16 week old puppy downstairs.

  • Nice vest you have there, I had this vest in UCP, the most comfortable body armor I ever tryed, I don't know why I sold it. (I also have a PACA, british body armour...)

  • @DreisSniper Yeah, they definitely are quite snug when they are fitted just right, my complaint with it though is that it doesn't breathe very well at all. With a T-shirt, ACU jacket, and this on top, it gets pretty hot pretty fast. I am looking more into things like the CIRAS or the RRV.

  • May as well look on eBay a couple hundred you can get the real deal with all of the Kevlar in it

  • @Martzx3193 Haha, true, I suffered that as well... your t-shirt ends up like a wet raisin. Its almost as hot in there as in a ghillie suit.

  • @Martzx3193 ok ill give that a shot, i might end up just getting a chest rig to wear over it though

  • @EnforcerAirsoft I got the majority of my pouches off of ebay, they have some really good deals there!

  • @Martzx3193 yea im tryin to find some molle pouches to put on this vest and i cant find wat im lookin for.so im probly gonna hit up the surplus store tomorrow

  • @EnforcerAirsoft Definitely. I still like using the old woodland fatigues with ALICE and LBE gear and the old PASGT helmet from time to time. I would like the PASGT vest for a 1990s US Army kit, but they are a bit outdated and the money can be used for more practical airsoft necessities.

  • @Martzx3193 thats good that u upgrading, i just like the older stuff thats seen action, some people can feel the history in somethin

  • @EnforcerAirsoft That is good, I've wanted to complete the whole vest system, but I am switching over to a different vest for a new kit.
