2011 Mid-Ohio Comic Con costume contest highlights. I was really surprised at how many off the shelf costumes were here. The first 2 minutes of the video was the contestants being moved as there was not enough space where the show was originally planned. We were very proud of Courtney Winning her category with her Little Sister costume.

I agree about the "off the shelf" comment. I always appreciate someone's costume so much more when you know or can tell that they've actually created it themselves. I mean, it's great when anyone wants to dress up, but I always figure when there is a contest than pretty much anyone could *buy* a nice costume in hopes to win... it's the creativity that should be judged as much as the final look, if not moreso. Glad you got some video... I was too busy takin' pictures. :-)

So a Lady Ga Ga, a couple who I have no idea what they are, a video game character, and a movie character all won at a Comic Con Costume Contest? Atleast the Bat guy and a War Machine won but really a Lady Ga Ga? Whats up with that!

I think it was because it was a "costume contest" and was near Halloween.
