  • to think a bunch of dirty fleabags from seattle, that sounded like high school garage bands killed this music!!!! thanx to all the ad execs and mtv for cramming it down everyones throats until it tasted good!! fuckin tragedy!!!

  • I saw these guys open for Spinal Tap. Back in 92' this type of metal had run itself into the ground, thanks to bands like Poison, Bon Jovi, Ratt, Cinderella, Skid Row (1st lp), Motley Crue etc people, including myself, were ready for something different. Grunge filled that need, it was totally different from what MTV was feeding us. Unfortunately bands like Roxy Blue and many other good bands suffered. Hopefully now they will get some recognition,

  • check out Todd's new band 714

look for the song World Breaks Down

    just popped up on youtube

    killer stuff

  • @VanishaGlamChick6 This is GREAT but umm.. yeah grunge music killed this genre the second "Smells Like Teen Spirit" became a hit.. Not saying it is dead today, it is nostalgic.. BUT I love Nirvana.. but I'll take this stuff right here over almost everything...

  • @mjhjr2 Don't know about sid but Todd Poole's band is 714....awesome!

  • anybody else think that right at the end of the video, they started to play Helluvatime by Slik Toxik? another kickass band that shouldve been huge

  • @ToolFan68 Then what made you look for such an obscure band/song and comment on it? Hair bands from back in the 80's-90's are still touring and selling out places. I just saw Danger Danger, Mr. Big, Tesla, Great White, Firehouse, Whitesnake and more at the M3 festival... Where are the grunge bands? NOWHERE!! Because they were a flash in the pan for a generation of kids that hated the world and parents. Good riddance!!

  • This song sounds like Van Halen - "Hot For Teacher" at the beginning. @ToolFan68: I think that early grunge like Nirvana were okay, but the later acts all started to sound the same and had less talent. Soundgarden went from okay to lame-ass screaming, and don't even get me started about Pearl Glam and Stone Temple Wussies. As far as hair metal (i.e. '80s to early '90s hard rock) I will always remember listening to it on Z ROCK twenty-some years ago...

  • Love it cant believe that Grunge shit killed off the last of hair it was the greatest time in the world for music in the 80s

  • @ToolFan68 i dont like hair metal outside of van halen and guns n roses(if u even consider them hair metal) but early grunge was good but it really fucked up the future of music. i mean todays music is almost all bands trying to do grunge and doign a terrible job of it
