We came across 3 decent sized flathead under Swansea Bridge in January 2009. These guys were pretty tame. Usually once disturbed Flathead will shoot off until out of a divers range of visibility. Flathead breed during summer and can often be seen in 'nests' of a large female and several smaller males laying on top. Flathead are seen on most Swansea Channel dives. I once saw one on a drift dive that was at least 5 ft long.
