@Mikiseedo also something that dancers like to forget and pretend others are too stupid to know...when you are country dancing, YOUR FEET NEVER LEAVE THE FLOOR!!! They scoot and unless they are stomping or sashaying! FACT!!!

Have watched to 55 secs, twice...about 30 mistakes...Cheryl is off beat and doing some thing funky with her legs/the beat...and Drew has nearly dropped it/lost it, 3 or 4 times. Wow! No where near a 30!!!

Like it or not, this is the freestyle against which all other freestyles are compared.

Hands down the best DWTS dance number ever. Number two is the Argentine Tango of Cheryl and Giles. It's been years but people are still talking about those dances.

@jjj1951 AMEN to your comment I hardly watch the show now, anymore, but these two were and still are my favorite couple there has been no free style dance that matches it i don't care what anybody says.

@streetwhereulive I think it has to do with the show's producers tinkering too much with the format. This show was not broken yet they felt the need to "fix it" by adding guest comedians doing commentary or the Macy's dance troupe ( which was unnecessary since the show's pros were much better). Then the producers felt they had to get politically correct by adding Heather Mills, Marlee Matlin and why oh why, Bristol Palin. And they continue today with a transgender celeb in Chaz Bono.
